In the hardest period of my life, Waveshaper's magnificent work was a great light of hope for me, and it still is. He is actually an engineer in the R&D department of a world-famous company; for him, music is a moment to breathe. I follow what he makes as best I can and support him by buying on Bandcamp. The story
Waveshaper is a Swedish synthwave musician, born in 1984. His style is retro-futurist, shaped by Jean-Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk, Daft Punk, Vangelis, John Carpenter and the sci-fi film scores of the 80s. He gets that sound mostly from hardware synths like the ARP 2600, Roland Jupiter-4 and Korg MS-20. While his professional life goes on, he makes this magnificent music under the name Waveshaper.
His first album, Tracks to the Future, came out in 2013.
Then the Sounds That Kill EP (2014) and the Solar Drifter record (2015).
In 2016 the album Station Nova, and in the same year he joined the soundtrack of the game Furi with his own tracks, alongside names like Carpenter Brut and Lorn ("Wisdom of Rage", "You Are the End").
In 2019 he appeared in The Rise of the Synths, the synthwave documentary narrated by John Carpenter.
In recent years he mostly releases albums on his own: Mainframe (2021), A Void Hope (2024), Alternate Reality (2026).
Ah, LukHash! I have listened to what he makes almost every day for years, like a ritual. What makes me feel closest to LukHash is his passion for both the C64 and the Amiga era. Ah, those magnificent Amiga 1200s! His music is like poetry; there is no getting enough of it.

The story
This legendary musician was born in Poland in 1984. Classically trained on guitar, and a musician who still loves metal. He moved to electronic music in the mid-2000s and has been producing as LukHash since 2006. He mixes chiptune with a synthwave and cyberpunk mood. He uses original machines like the Commodore 64, modified Game Boys, the NES and the Atari 2600 together with modern production. In the late 2000s he started uploading videos of himself making music on these machines to YouTube, and reached the wide audience he deserved. He also does a lot of work for the newly re-established Commodore company.
His first album, Dead Pixels, came out in 2010.
We Are Stardust (2021) entered the overall Bandcamp sales chart at number 1 and made the Top 40 of the UK official charts.
Home Arcade (2025) entered the UK download chart at number 16 — and Home Arcade is an in-cre-di-ble album!
Should I say maestro? Chris Hülsbeck is a legend! One of the pioneers of game music — truly, one of the pioneers. He keeps making incredible music. I will be his supporter for the rest of my life! Here are some links to reach him.
The story
As a child he took piano lessons from his grandmother. At 14 he got a Commodore 64 and learned programming too. In 1986 he won the music competition of the German magazine 64'er with his track "Shades". That success got him a job at Rainbow Arts. He wrote the music for The Great Giana Sisters (1987) and for the cult Turrican series, which began in 1990. Together with Peter Thierolf he developed the TFMX music system for the Amiga. He is known for getting 5 voices out of the C64, which normally has 3, and 7 out of the Amiga, which has 4.
In 1998 he moved to the USA to work at Factor 5. He worked as composer and music director on the Star Wars: Rogue Squadron series.
In 2008 the Symphonic Shades concert was given with the WDR Radio Orchestra in Cologne. It was the first game music concert broadcast live on radio.
In 2012 the Kickstarter campaign he opened for the Turrican Soundtrack Anthology had a goal of 75 thousand dollars. The campaign passed 200 thousand.
He is still working: Tiny Thor (2023) and X-Out: Resurfaced (2025) are among his latest.
In recent years he was living and working while travelling the USA in a camper van. But right now he has built himself a wonderful, sweet little house. He shares every development on Patreon.
By the way! There are some ties between Waveshaper, LukHash and Chris. The Commodore 64 on which Hülsbeck made music in the 80s is one of the machines LukHash uses today. Pixel Force and Alive, made by LukHash × Waveshaper together, are mind-blowing, magnificent compositions. Also, in 2013 Waveshaper made a mashup remix of the Turrican 2 intro music. And in a 2023 interview he names "video game composers like Chris Huelsbeck" among his inspirations (The Daily Frequency).

The story
American entrepreneur and YouTuber. At 15 he starts a lawn-care business :) At 17 he buys and sells garden equipment. His father's support is inevitable — what a father, I'd give my life for one like that! He works alongside him and grows. At 18–19 he starts trading, first stocks, then forex. While studying computer science at Auburn University, he opens the TraderNick YouTube channel in 2018. The rest just flows.
In 2019 Nick founded Atlanta-based A1 Trading, with a focus on retail traders. He sells the products and the range keeps growing.

The story
Before moving to trading he was a golfer. Yes, he travelled the world as a PGA professional and a certified golf instructor :) He studied marketing and resort management at Ferris State University, and did his MBA there too. In 2008 he went after the idea of financial freedom and started trading, and he has been a full-time trader since that year.
He worked at Market Traders Institute (MTI) as a senior strategist. He ran the "Flex Trading Room" there and made the "Keep It Seriously Simple" video series.
He is listed as founder and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Streamwise Capital.
His articles were published on sites like Investopedia and FXStreet; he spoke at conferences like MoneyShow.
He sells his own signal services under the name Chris Pulver Trading. He still teaches golf, too.
By the way, Nick and Chris are two close friends. Chris is listed as the company's Lead Trader on the A1 Trading site. He has a separate subscription service on A1 Trading under the name "Pulver Alerts". He regularly does live streams with Nick titled "Chris Pulver Trading + A1 Trading + TraderNick". They talk about every subject — a real "Double Trouble" :) I hope their friendship lasts forever.
